First Login and Approval
After registering with the invite link, you enter the app once the Admin approves your account. What you see depends on the role you’ve been assigned.
Logging in after approval
Go to my.salescontrol.app, enter your email and password, and log in. If you try to log in before approval, the app tells you the account is pending: wait for the Admin to approve you from Team › Users.
If you’ve forgotten your password you can reset it yourself from the login page. See Password Recovery.
What each role sees
SalesControl adapts the interface to your role, so you only see what concerns you:
| Role | What they see |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything: clients, payments, commissions, bonuses, team, the Admin Panel and the agency settings. |
| Setter | Their own data: the clients and sales they worked on, with the related commissions. |
| Closer | Their own data: the clients they follow, collections, renewals and their commissions. |
| PM (Project Manager) | The clients they manage operationally and, in addition, the client chat. |
Beyond your role, the Admin can enable individual permissions for you (for example marking payments or creating clients). If you don’t see a button you expect, it’s usually a matter of permissions: ask the Admin to enable it under Team.
Where roles and permissions are assigned
Roles and permissions are not chosen at registration or approval time: the Admin assigns them in the Team page, in your member’s card. They can also change over time. For the full list of permissions see Roles and Permissions.
First things first: complete your profile
If you are linked to a card in Team, at your first login the app asks you for language, time zone, phone, Google Calendar and your weekly availability before letting you work. You only see what is missing, and every step saves straight away: A member’s first login.
Take a tour of the app
On your first login it’s worth getting familiar with the navigation bar, the header and the badges. You’ll find it all in Interface Tour.
