Client Reminders
A reminder is a note with a date attached to a client: “Reactivate the campaigns on 15/08”, “Ask for a review after the first month”. On that day SalesControl alerts you and the people you picked, each on the channel you chose for them.
Where to find it
On the client detail page there is a Reminders card listing the active ones, with a button to create a new one. You can also create one without opening the page: right-click (or press and hold on a phone) a client name anywhere in the app and choose Add reminder.
Creating a reminder
| Field | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Title | Required. It’s the line shown in the list and in the notification. |
| Note (what to do) | The detail of the action to take. |
| Date | Required, today or later: the day the alert goes out. |
| Also notify | Who receives it besides you, and on which channel. |
Role recipients
At the top of the recipients section there are three special entries: Assigned setter, Assigned closer and Assigned PM. They don’t point at a fixed person but at the role on that client, and they are resolved at the moment the reminder goes out.
Use roles when the reminder is about the work rather than the person: if the client moves to a different PM tomorrow, the alert reaches the new PM without you having to remember to update it.
Individual recipients
The Add recipients button opens a dropdown with search by name. Who you can pick:
- Colleagues in your team (for an admin: every member of the agency).
- The agency Admins, marked with an Admin label: they can always be picked by anyone, and appear at the bottom of the list.
You are always on the list and can’t remove yourself: whoever creates a reminder receives it. You can, however, decide on which channels.
Push and email, one recipient at a time
Every row in the recipients list — both the role entries and the people — has two independent checkboxes: Push and Email. So you can push the alert to the closer, email it to the back office, and get both yourself.
If you leave the checkboxes alone, a recipient gets both channels: that’s the default. Push notifications only reach people who enabled them on their own device from Push Notifications.
When it arrives, and how it closes
The reminder goes out on the day you set. From then on the card shows a Sent badge and the row can no longer be cancelled. While it’s still pending, the X next to the row cancels it; clicking the text instead opens it read-only, with the full note.
How it relates to the notification settings
In the Admin Panel › Notifications there is a Client reminder type. That’s where the channels (push and email, both on by default) and the message text are governed — not the recipients, which stay the choice of whoever creates each reminder.
