Volume Bonus
The volume bonus rewards the salesperson with a percentage calculated on the turnover produced in the period, instead of a fixed reward. It is useful when you want to tie the bonus to the value of the contracts, not just to their number.
This feature is available on the Professional plan and above. If you don’t see it in the app, check your plan in Subscription Plans.
How it works
The rule is based on three elements:
- Activation threshold — the minimum volume to exceed for the bonus to trigger. Below the threshold nothing is earned.
- Bonus percentage — the share granted on the volume produced.
- Cap on renewals — how much of the volume coming from renewals can be counted, to prevent renewals alone from inflating the bonus.
Example
A monthly rule for Closers:
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Activation threshold | € 10,000 of volume |
| Bonus percentage | 2% |
| Cap on renewals | € 5,000 |
If a Closer produces € 18,000 of volume in the month, they have exceeded the € 10,000 threshold and earn 2% of the counted volume. The renewal volume that contributes to the calculation is limited to the € 5,000 cap: the renewal portion above it is not counted, while the volume from new contracts counts in full.
If the period’s volume stays below the activation threshold, the bonus does not trigger at all: the percentage only applies once the threshold is exceeded.
The cap on renewals keeps the incentive pointed at acquiring new turnover. If instead you want to reward the number of contracts in fixed steps, consider the tiered bonus.
