Multi-Currency
If you work with clients in different currencies, SalesControl handles the exchange automatically. There is a reference currency for the agency and, from the Pro plans up, a specific currency for each service.
This feature is available on the Professional plan and above. If you don’t see it in the app, check your plan in Subscription Plans.
Agency base currency
The base currency is the reference currency the app uses to express totals and summaries. You set it in the General tab of the Admin Panel and can choose among EUR, USD, GBP, AUD and CAD. See General Agency Settings.
Per-service currency
From the Professional plans up you can assign a different currency to each service. This way a service sold to foreign clients can be expressed in their currency, while the agency keeps reasoning in its own base currency. See Create a Service.
Automatic exchange rates
The exchange rates update automatically: you don’t have to enter them by hand. The app uses them to convert the amounts of services in a different currency into the base currency.
Rate lock at collection
The moment you mark an installment as collected, the exchange rate is locked on the installment: from that point the converted amount no longer changes, even if the rate moves later. This way the recorded collection stays faithful to the real value of the day. See How to Mark a Payment as Collected.
Changing the base currency does not reconvert history: amounts already recorded stay unchanged. The new currency only applies to later calculations and displays.
