User Management and Approvals

The Users sub-tab of the Team page is where the admin manages who can access the app: it approves new registrations, invites new members and manages existing accounts. It is visible only to Admins.

This feature requires a paid plan (Starter and above). See Subscription Plans.

Where to find it

Open the Team page and select the Users sub-tab. Here you find the list of accounts linked to your agency, with those pending approval highlighted at the top.

Approving pending users

When someone registers with your invite link, they appear in the Users Awaiting Approval box from the moment they register, even before they confirm their email. Their account stays pending until you approve it: until then they cannot use the app.

Find the pending user

In the Users sub-tab, locate the account with the “pending” status.

Click “Approve”

Press the Approve button: from that moment the user can log in.

Link them to a member

To let them see their clients and activate the permissions, link the account to a team member. See Add a Team Member.

Copying the invite link

To let new members register, use Copy invite link. The link has the form:

my.salescontrol.app/?tenant=SLUG&action=signup

Whoever opens it lands directly on the registration form already associated with your agency. After submitting the form they receive a confirmation email: clicking its link takes them back into the app, on the waiting-for-approval screen. You see them among the pending users right away though, so remember to approve them as seen above — there is no need to wait for them to confirm their email.

Tip

The invite link is the same for all new members: you can share it once with the whole group. Registration requires a password of at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.

Editing or removing an account

Removal is not just a revocation of access: it also deletes the person’s account. The Remove User confirmation dialog puts it like this: “Their access and account will be removed: they can no longer sign in, and their email becomes available for a new registration. Sales data stays, but without their name. This cannot be undone.” In other words, the person can no longer log in, their email can be reused for a new registration, and the sales history stays on file, but without their name.

Two limits protect the agency:

Warning

Deletion is final. If the person is still linked to a team member, first consider what happens to the connected clients and commissions.
