The closer’s Google Calendar

Each closer can connect their own Google Calendar from Settings. SalesControl reads the calls that have a video link and at least one external guest and brings them into the Agenda, matched to leads and clients through the guests’ emails. It is for teams that do not use GoHighLevel, or that book calls outside GHL. Reading is still the heart of the connection: the events you already have in your calendar are never touched.

Plan required

From the Starter plan up, like the Agenda.

September 2026 update

With updated permissions the connection does three more things: every event marked busy blocks the slots of your booking link (without storing titles or details); bookings from the link create the Google Meet event on your calendar; and when you edit an appointment from the Agenda, SalesControl moves, recreates or deletes that event on Google. Every other event in your calendar is never edited or deleted.

How to connect it

  1. Go to Settings › Google Calendar and press Connect Google Calendar.
  2. Google asks you to pick the account and confirm read-only permissions on events and the calendar list. While Google’s review is in progress you may see an “unverified app” warning: continue from Advanced.
  3. You come back to Settings with the connection active. By default only the primary calendar is read: tick the others and save.
  4. The first read starts right away (from yesterday to the next 60 days); after that, every 5 minutes only changed events are read.

What it reads

How it matches an event to leads and clients

Fixed order, stopping at the first unambiguous hit: first the call link (if an appointment with the same link already exists, for instance from GHL, it is linked rather than duplicated); then a guest email — an active lead, then a converted lead, then a client. Example: an invite to mario.rossi@example.com lands on the lead Mario Rossi if that is their email.

If no rule recognises the contact, or several contacts share the same email, the appointment goes to To link at the top of the Agenda: you link it with one click or ignore it. The Agenda entry in the menu shows how many there are. Google never creates a lead.

If you also use the GHL calendar

A call booked in GHL that also sits on Google arrives once: the GHL row is linked to the Google event. GHL rules on time, status and contact; Google only updates appointments that did not come from GHL.

What it does not do

If Google revokes the permission

If you change your password or remove SalesControl from your Google account, the connection turns Revoked: you see it in Settings and in a notice in the Agenda. Just press Reconnect. Appointments already imported stay.

How to disconnect

In Settings › Google Calendar press Disconnect: the permission is revoked at Google and the token deleted. The admin sees who connected a calendar, and since when, in Admin › Integrations.
